How Zack Lost 38 Pounds in Three Months (FVT Case Study)

Here is a message I recently received from a FVT boot camp client. He has seen some AMAZING progress over the last few months, so I was delighted when he agreed to share his story! It is an awesome inspiration. Without further ado, Zack W:

Forest,

Thank you for including me in your case study. Your guidance has made it possible for me to reach so many of my goals and even set new ones.

I decided to start training at the Forest Vance Training Center because I was unsuccessful with my own efforts at losing weight and getting into better shape. I had always been overweight. Even with a very physically demanding job and my own workout program I was still maintaining a body weight around 255 pounds. This was due to poor diet, eating at the wrong times, skipping meals and inconsistency with my exercise. I needed the help of a professional who could guide me to a healthy and appropriate training program and diet. I also needed an extra boost to keep me motivated and consistent with my exercise, an added bonus of the boot camp group style workout.

I have been training under Forest’s guidance for about three months. I do three FVT Boot Camp sessions per week supplemented with cardio and light weight training at home about four times a week. I have followed Forest’s easy to follow guide to healthy eating by consuming only lean proteins, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates from the provided sample list and of course proper hydration. I still have cheat meals and enjoy the foods I love, just in moderation.

In the three months I have been training under Forest’s guidance I have lost 38 pounds. I have reduced my measurements by a full pant and shirt size. I am lighter, faster, stronger and have more endurance since beginning my training at FVT. I can finally do an unassisted pull-up and I recently ran eleven miles at a 12 minute mile pace. I am in the best shape of my life and am doing things I never thought I could do, thanks to Forest’s expert guidance.

I hope in the months to come to get my body weight under the 200 pound mark, try to complete a half marathon and test for the FVT Elite Fitness Level.

The FVT training center boot camp workout is awesome. I get a whole body workout in under an hour. There are many class times available which make it easy to stay on track if you have a busy schedule. The staff and clientele are friendly, welcoming and encouraging. I can workout without all the fuss of having to figure out an effective training program on my own. The FVT boot camp format keeps you motivated to come regularly and to challenge yourself. There are regular fitness challenges which motivate you to push your limits and reach personal goals. Forest makes himself available to his clients which I like because it is easy to get advice from him if you need a tip on diet or exercise.

Forest you run a great program and are an amazing trainer. You are still the only person I’ve met that smiles when doing burpees and pull-ups!! … an inspiration to all!

Thank you for all your help and guidance.
