We all know that fast food is bad for us. But sometimes, we just don’t have the time to cook a healthy meal. When that happens, we turn to fast food. But what are the “healthiest” fast food choices?
Unfortunately, even the “healthiest” fast food choices are still bad for you. They’re high in calories, fat, and sodium. And they’re usually processed and full of chemicals. So, next time you’re in a hurry, think twice before you order that “healthy” fast food meal.
If you absolutely must eat fast food, here are some of the “healthiest” choices you can make:
- Burger with no cheese or mayo
- Plain grilled chicken sandwich
- Garden salad with grilled chicken
- Fruit cup
If you’re looking for truly healthy options though, you’re better off cooking at home or packing a lunch from home. There are plenty of healthy recipes out there that are easy to make and don’t require a lot of time or effort. And, if you’re not into cooking, there are plenty of healthy prepared meals that you can find at your local grocery store.
It’s official: if you’re eating “healthy” fast food, you’re still eating garbage. While some fast food chains are better than others, none of them are good for your health.
