Train-a-Trainer Charity Recap

THANK YOU to all who participated in our Train-a-Trainer Charity Events over the last couple of weekends in Sacramento and KC.

We had a lot of fun, clients got to put the trainers through the paces for a change! 😉

In the process, we were also able to raise:

– $120 for the Sacramento SPCA
– $160 for Lee’s Summit Social Services

Happy Holidays, we hope to see you at the next one!

Exciting news for FVT Personal Training – Sacramento!

When I first founded Forest Vance Training in late 2008, I was filled with a vision to make a difference in people’s lives through fitness.

It had always been my dream to open my own personal training studio and create a strong community of individuals looking to transform themselves!

I think we have successfully achieved this in Sacramento, making a significant impact on the lives of thousands of local clients over the last 14 years.

Since my family and I relocated to the Kansas City area about 18 months ago, running a small business from a distance has presented its challenges!… but our continued success stories fuel my excitement for the future.

On a recent visit, one of our clients, Milmon, shared an inspiring story of losing 15 lbs over the past couple of months and really hitting his stride. Shernee just reached a milestone of 50 lbs lost and is continuing to make progress. How amazing to be able to participate in people making these kinds of changes in their lives!!

I’ve been working on figuring out the best way to continue to make this happen for the last several months.

That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that effective January 1st, 2024, FVT – Sacramento will be under new ownership!!

Sarai White, who has been in the fitness industry for an impressive 24 years, will be taking the reins. Sarai and I have known each other for nine years and have collaborated on various projects together.

Sarai envisions elevating the business to new heights and giving it the focused attention it deserves as a local owner. I can’t wait to see what incredible things lie ahead under her leadership.

I will be involved in the transition process and look forward to being part of this exciting journey moving forward.
If you have any questions or need assistance in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Here’s to a bright future!

the Holiday “Mini-Cut”

If it was anything like mine, you indulged in good food and drinks and had a great time.

And now, on this Cyber Monday, you might be feeling a little “fluffy”! 😉

That’s why I think NOW is the perfect time to do a Holiday Mini-Cut. It’s actually what I’ll be focusing on for the rest of 2023!

If you’re interested in joining me on this journey, sign up for our upcoming 21-day Holiday Shred Challenge -> https://forestvance.lpages.co/21-day-holiday-shred-challenge-2023/

A mini cut is basically a more aggressive style of dieting that involves significantly reducing your calorie intake for a few weeks in order to lose weight quickly. This approach helps our bodies get ready for muscle growth.

Unlike longer cutting cycles, mini cuts allow us to get back to a surplus of calories sooner, which means we have more time for building muscle.

During a mini cut, you consume around 500-1000 fewer calories per day than usual.

For example, if you’re currently eating 3000 calories daily, during the mini-cut phase you would aim for around 2000-2500 calories.

The goal is to lose around 1% of your body weight each week through this process. However, in the first few weeks, it’s possible to lose up to 1.5-2% per week.

Personally, my target is to shed at least 7 pounds before Christmas, but I’m hoping to push myself even further and reach a stretch goal of 10!

If you’re interested in joining me on this journey, sign up for our upcoming 21-day Holiday Shred Challenge -> https://forestvance.lpages.co/21-day-holiday-shred-challenge-2023/

I’ll guide you through the exact eating and training plan needed to achieve these results!

I’m excited about the opportunity to work with all of you and take on this Challenge together –
