We did a really fun challenge at the end of boot camp last night.
Everyone loved it and hated it at the same time 🙂
It’s 100% bodyweight-based and requires ZERO equipment, so thought it would be cool to share.
Give it a try today:
#
10 Min Zero Equip Bodyweight Challenge
Set your timer for 10 minutes. Start with one rep of each exercise. Once you finish one rep of each exercise, do two reps of each exercise. Once you finish two reps of each exercise, do three reps of each exercise. Continue to “climb the ladder”, getting as high as you can in 10 minutes.
*BONUS – do it with a partner “I-go-you-go” – style for added challenge and fun!
– burpee
– prisoner squat
– push up
– total body extension (like a jump, but low impact – just come up on your toes instead of leaving the ground)

Charity Boot Camp was a success!
We raised over $700 for childhood cancer research and had a great fun workout as a group.
Huge thanks for your support! ????????????
Now if you weren’t able to make it out, but still want contribute, I have great news.
The Head Shaving event itself is on March 9th, and we want to raise at least $1000 for the cause.
So, for the month of February, we have decided that you can donate any amount to our Childhood Cancer Research charity effort and try a boot camp workout FREE!
IMPORTANT – we have specific times set aside for this, so you must register and get the appointment scheduled ahead of time. Click the link, enter your contact info, and we’ll reach out ASAP to schedule your workout:

5 Minute No Crunches Ab Workout
You’ll start off with a high plank.
Hold for 20 seconds.
Then, transition RIGHT into the opposite arm / opposite hip touch.
Do this for 20 seconds.
The last move in the sequence is a cross body mountain climber. Transition immediately into this exercise, and hold for 20 seconds as well.
Rest about 30 seconds when you’re done, and repeat the rotation two more times for a total of three rounds.
Watch the video for a breakdown of the workout and for more coaching cues / tips on the exercises:

Worldwide, more than 25,000 kids will be diagnosed with cancer this month.
St. Baldrick’s is the #1 private funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Funding the best research, no matter where it takes place.
Tens of thousands of volunteers worldwide shave their heads each year to raise money for this research.
I’ve joined St. Baldrick’s to find cures for kids.

Pull ups are important. They are one of the best indicators of total body fitness. If you are a woman and you can do a few pull ups … or if you are a man and you can do 10 or more … you probably have a solid bodyweight-to-strength ratio, relatively low level of bodyfat, and good overall level of fitness.
They are a great way to train your upper body pulling muscles … as well as the core and the total body!
Watch the video, and learn:
— The difference between a pull up and a chin up .. and which one is easier
— What “counts” as a legit pull up or chin up rep
— The PROPER way to do a jumping or assisted pull up or chin up
— The PROPER way to do a band-assisted pull up or chin up
— How to work to full, unassisted pull ups / chins ups – and beyond!
And don’t forget – we’ll be working on pull ups every week – for 12 weeks straight! – at Next Level Strength. The program starts January 30th, and $50 pre-registration discount ends Sunday:
